Miguel Pereira, nasceu na cidade do "Rio Azul", Setúbal, no ano de 1975. Tirou um bacherel de Informática de Gestão e trabalha presentemente como técnico de informática. Devido ao contacto com técnologias, tornou simples a entrada no mundo da fotografia digital. Com um amor profundo em todas as artes visuais, a fotografia foi uma paixão já tardia que começou de forma séria no ano de 2011. No ano seguinte como forma de teste concorreu para o concurso mensal da revista "O Mundo da Fotografia Digital" e ganhou o primeiro prémio. O trabalho desenvolvido é tanto em P&B como em cores mas tem um paixão especial pelos efeitos da fotografia de longa exposição. A fotografia veio apenas complementar outra paixão que é a exploração do mundo natural. Em 2015 iniciou uma contribução com a revista "Light & Landscape". Em Janeiro de 2016 uma de suas fotos foi escolhido para ser publicada na edição portuguesa da revista National Geographic. Em Abril de 2017 mais uma foto na National Geographic e outras 2 na Revista Caras (29/03 e 22/11). Em 2019 ganhou o segundo prémio no concurso PHENOMENA. Entre os vários tipos de fotografia, retrato e paisagem estão nos lugares cimeiros.
Miguel Pereira was born on the city of the "blue river", Setubal, on the year 1975. Bachelor's degree in computing management, works presently as a computer technician. This contact with techonlogies helped entering the world of digital photography. Miguel loved all visual arts from very early on, but photography is a passion that came later on in his life, starting in a serious way around 2011. The next year, Miguel competed in a contest in the monthly magazine "O Mundo da Fotografia Digital" and won the first prize. His work is both in color and B&W and he has a special love for long exposure effects. Ultimately, photography encompasses another passion of his which is the exploration of the natural world. In 2015 he started to contribute to the Light & Landscape magazine. in January 2016 one of his photos was chosen to be published in the portuguese edition of the National Geographic magazine. In April 2017 another photo was chosen and 2 others to the Caras magazine (29/03 e 22/11). In 2019 won the second prize in the PHENOMENA contest. Among the various types of photography, portrait and landscape are in the top positions.
